Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Monday announced the launch of ‘Work@Home’- an enterprise grade work from home solution for businesses which enables a fully secure and seamless ‘office like experience at home’ by offering connectivity, collaboration tools and security as an integrated solution.
In a press release, Bharti Airtel said, “ With work for home becoming the new normal for millions of Indian professionals, Airtel Business – the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel – today launched Work@Home solutions for enterprises.”
The Work@Home solution offers both wired and wireless internet connectivity, through its corporate broadband and 4G services, which the company claims is a first-of-its kind enterprise solution in the country.
“These are unprecedented times and businesses are adapting to the evolving environment with new ways of working. For a large proportion of employees, working from their homes is set to become the new normal,” said Ajay Chitkara, Director & CEO-Airtel Business, was quoted in the release.
He also added that “Airtel Work@Home is yet another innovation to ensure that our B2B customers are able to empower their people with best-in-class connectivity and digital tools to drive business continuity.”
The Work@Home plan comes with broadband and 4G connections, collaboration tools and virtual private network (VPN) connections. The company is including Google Meet, Zoom and Cisco WebX as options for collaboration tools.
