Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on Thursday at the age of 67. The actor was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital on Wednesday after he complained of breathing problems.
Kapoor, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, has undergone treatment in New York and returned to India last year.
Rishi Kapoor was known for his work in films like Bobby and Chandni. He was last seen in 2018 comedy-drama ‘102 Not Out’, where the actor paired up with Ambitabh Bachchan after 27 years.
In a Twitter post, the senior Bachchan wrote, “T 3517 – He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”
Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima.
