Tata Motors Q4 global wholesale down by 35%

Tata Motors’ global wholesale number, including Jaguar Land Rover, declined by 35% year-on-year to 231,929 in the fourth quarter of FY20 as compared to the same period last year. 

Wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q4 FY20 stood at 72,608 units, lower by 49%, over Q4FY19.

Passenger vehicles wholesales fell by 26% YoY to 159,321 units in Q4FY20. Global dispatches for Jaguar Land Rover were 126,979 vehicles, which includes 6,288 units sold by Chery Jaguar Land Rover in China.

Jaguar wholesales for the quarter stood at 32,940 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were at 94,039.

Earlier this week, JLR had reported retail sales for Q4FY20 and FY20. The Tata Motors’ subsidiary had sold 109,869 vehicles in the March quarter, down 31% year on year. JLR’s retail sales for the full year stood at 508,659 vehicles.
